In the evening, a pre-trip briefing will be conducted where you’ll meet your guide, review the itinerary, and go over essential equipment and safety details.
Today, you begin your journey with a scenic drive to Syabrubesi, a small village at the gateway to the Langtang Valley. The drive winds through hills, rivers, and rural towns, offering a taste of the Nepali countryside. Upon arrival, you’ll settle into a teahouse for the night.
The trek begins by crossing the Bhote Koshi River and ascending through dense forests filled with rhododendrons and oaks. You’ll pass small settlements and walk along the Langtang Khola, eventually reaching Lama Hotel, a peaceful stop nestled in the forest.
Today’s trail offers beautiful views as you gradually climb higher through forested landscapes into more open valleys. You’ll start to see glimpses of Langtang Lirung and pass through Ghoda Tabela before reaching Langtang Village, a traditional Tamang settlement.
A short but rewarding hike leads you to Kyanjin Gompa, a culturally rich village with a famous monastery and cheese factory. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, this area is ideal for relaxation and exploration. You’ll have time to enjoy the mountain views and acclimate to the altitude.
