Annapurna region trek has been known as the naturalist’s paradise. Annapurna region ranks top most-to -visit destination in the world. Trekkers get varied feast of glamorous nature – emerald hills, parades of glistering peaks, authentic culture and turquoise lake. Pokhara is the major entry and exit point of Annapurna region trekking which is famous for hotels, equipment-rental shops and easy transportation to trailheads.
Trekking to Annapurna requires moderate fitness level and there are no boundaries for age and size of trekkers. The region boasts some of the best mountain views and wonders of nature. The region is declared as conservational area as it is natural habitat of hundreds of magnificent flora and fauna and bird species. From the circular trek to Annapurna massifs to Annapurna Base Camp Trek and less trodden Mardi Himal Trek to Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trek, the region offers a lot for every kinds of adventure seekers. The Annapurna trek goes through the lush green foothills, barren of the world’s deepest Kaligandaki gorge and subtropical forest embellished with rhododendron and other wild flowers. The trail also passes different ethnical villages which allows us to get acquainted with local culture and tradition. Major mountains like – Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri Range and Machhapuchhre (the fish tail mountain) are common sight seen during the trek. Crossing of Thorong La Pass at 5,416m is the ultimate objective and highest point of the trek.
