Trekking to Manaslu features all the elements that wilderness trekking in Nepal offers. From untouched trekking route to majestic scenery and spectacular Himalayan vistas to rustic villages, Manalsu region trek is full of adventure and discovery. The mesmerizing Ngadi Chuli, Himalchuli, Boudha A and Manalsu (eight highest peak in the world) are common sights during the trek. During the trek, trekkers get opportunity to interact with local people and gain in-depth insight of Bon-po religion (pre-Buddhist religion) and polyandry system.
Since trekking to this region is restricted, trekkers intending to visit Manalsu must obtain special trekking permit to enter the area. The restriction has been charged to protect the fragile environment, nature and culture of the region. March to May during spring and September to November are the best time of the year to visit Manalsu region.
