The answer to this very frequent question is anywhere from 40 to 60 days. If you begin your mountaineering trip from Lukla itself, then the entire trek takes around two months. The expedition is mostly initiated in the month of March when the trekkers arrive at Everest Base Camp. Basically, there are two ridges from where you can climb Mount Everest- South and North.Southeast ridge Mount Everest in Nepal is acclaimed through the southern ridge.
