Trishuli is known for the Trishuli River, which is famous for not slowing down when it comes to white-water rafting and other extreme water sports suitable for adrenaline junkies like me. The town also serves Trishuli is a small valley located near the River. Along with its breathtaking views and exciting activities, Trishuli is also widely known for being the home of the Trishuli Hydropower Station, which is one of the energy contributors to Nepal. Unlike other places, Trishuli is unique due to its terraced hills and small rural villages surrounding the breathtaking landscape.
About 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu is Pokhara, one of the most stunning and treasured tourist spots of Nepal. It is unique for its breathtaking natural beauty, having Phewa Lake, captivating views of the Annapurna mountain ranges, several caves, and waterfalls. Today, you’ll embark on a scenic 4–5 hour drive to Pokhara, a picturesque city nestled beside the serene Phewa Lake and framed by the majestic Annapurna range. After checking into your Lakeside hotel, spend the evening exploring the tranquil lakeshore. You may choose to enjoy a serene boat ride to Barahi Temple, a small but significant shrine located on an island in the middle of the lake.
