Sarangkot trek 
Sarangkot day hiking is a quick hike through the picturesque Pokhara Valley and city. Pokhara is situated in a lush valley surrounded by gently undulating green hills that are studded with charming rural villages and meticulously maintained terraces. With a height of more than 1,460 meters, the Sarangkot Hilltop is a great vantage point for viewing both sunrises and sunsets. Sarangkot is a 3 hour popular hike in pokhara that includes some uphill walking. At the summit, there is a viewing tower and a few snack stores.

Peace pagoda trek 
The World Peace Pagoda, often known as the Bishwa Shanti Stupa or World Peace Pagoda, is located on top of a hill on Pokhara's Phewa Lake's southern bank. Huge statues of the Lord Buddha from Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Japan have been installed inside this stupa, which serves as a symbol of world peace. The stupa offers spectacular views of Fishtail and Annapurna as well as the reddish glow over Pokhara. After a pleasant 30-minute boat journey, you can cross the Phewa Lake to get to the stupa. You will go on stepping stone stairs through the forest to get to the other side of the lake.

You will spend a few hours at the summit taking in the views when you reach the top. You'll also notice how calm the environment is. Observe an enormous white stupa with Buddha statues in meditative positions. Additionally, there is a monastery inside the building where monks engage in chanting and prayer. After all of that, you will travel to the lake, stopping at common communities along the way. The boat boarding area will then come into view. and then make your way back to the town area on the other side of the lake.

Shivapuri Peak Hike 
Shivapuri is well known for its wildlife reserve and watersheds. You can expect some magnificent views of nature because it is the second-highest hill surrounding the Kathmandu Valley. The Shivapuri Hike is one of the must-do hikes while visiting Kathmandu because it is the hiking location that is closest to the city's core. The Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park has the Shivapuri climb. The 144 km2 National Park is connected to the districts of Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk, and Dhading. To go to the Shivapuri Baba statue at the top of Shivapuri Hill, you must hike for a full day. 

The main entry to the national park is located on the Budhanilkantha side of the Shivapuri National Park gate, which is where the Shivapuri Hike begins. You will be given an admission ticket by the soldiers at the checkpoint, and the cost is noted on it. During the hike, you will trek through Nagi Gompa, a white monastery, Baghdwar, rhododendron trees, and different flora and fauna. You can see the stunning mountains and the Kathmandu valley from Shivapuri peak. Nearly 37 percent of the Himalayas' peaks are white. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, the Langtang range, Dorje Lakpa, Mt. Everest, and the Annapurna range are a few of them. This walk takes 6 to 7 hours to complete in its entirety.

Nagarkot trek

This comprises the Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Manaslu, Jugal, and Annapurna ranges.

Nagarkot is a popular destination for tourists who arrive by car or on foot because of its availability of scenic beauty and natural beauty. Nagarkot Day Hike Tour thus became one of the most well-liked day tours from Kathmandu. This journey is accessible throughout the year because it is relatively low in altitude, with a top elevation of only about 2,200 meters. Ranikot village trek 
It is a one-day trek from Ranikot village, where you can reach Ranikot Pass via a one-day trek. The hike continues in the direction of the lovely and authentic Newari settlement of Panauti. Chandragiri trek 
Chandragiri Trek is one of the best day hikes in the Kathmandu Valley. The height of Chandragiri Hill above sea level is 2475 meters. The Hindu Temple at Matatirtha, or Hotel Outlook INN, is where the hike begins. You become different in a clean environment, and you experience mental relaxation. Additionally, you may get a panoramic vista of the Ganesh Himal and Langtang mountain ranges. If the weather is crystal clear everest is visible from here.  An auspicious medicinal plant (herbs) native to Chandragiri has been discovered there in the subtropical jungle (1,000-2275 m). A variety of species can be seen there, including the Grey Wagtail, Steppe Eagle, Kingfisher, Common Myna, Indian Pond Heron, Oriental Turtle Dove, Red-vented Bulbul, Great Egret, House Crow, House Sparrow, Little Egret, Spotted Dove, and a great number of others. To reach the Hattiban Resort, the trek continues for two and a half hours.  

Dhampus trek 
The Dhampus Trek is a day hike from Pokhara Valley that will take you to the beautiful hilltop in the Kasko district. Phedi, a lower-lying farming community, serves as the Dhampus' starting point for treks. We spend three hours gently ascending from Phedi through the picturesque villages and forest. The Dhampus Trek provides breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Dhampus Peak and other magnificent peaks like Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna South (7219m), Himchuli (644m), Lamjung Himal (6983m), Fishtail (6993m), and others. Dhampus Trek is a simple, tranquil, and lovely location to get away from the bustle of daily life.

One of the quickest hikes in the Pokhara Valley is the Dhampus trip, which passes by Dhampus town, Australian Camp, and Sarangkot, among other well-known sights. Visitors to Dhampus come for the best views, but they also come to see the ethnic Gurung people, whose daily activities you can observe. 

Thulakot hill trek 
The Thulakot Hill Trek is one of the places in Pokhara to take in beautiful scenery and vistas. The purpose of the Thulakot hike is to enjoy both the Himalayan scenery and Nepalese mountain life. After 30 minutes of driving from Pokhara, the trip begins from Bijayapur. Although there are numerous tourists around, there are fewer people here. The scenery as you ascend to Thulakot is breathtaking. with beautiful scenery and a panorama of the Pokhara valley. 

The trek begins with an hour-long picturesque drive from Pokhara to Kalikasthan (17 km northeast). You will visit charming towns, picturesque sceneries, and breathtaking landscapes. You must travel about 25 minutes through the village way starting from Kalikasthan. As you proceed along the path, you will pass by a number of village homes where you can see how the residents live. You will then trek for roughly 15 kilometers to Thulakot. The mountain range and eight of Pokhara's nine lakes are visible from this area.

Some of the mountain ranges to see are Annapurna, Macchapucchre, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu.

Champadevi hill trek
The best approach to connecting with nature is to take the Champadevi Hike. The journey starts out in Kathmandu and takes a quick drive to Bhanjyang. The journey gradually ascends along the track through a thick forest that is home to a wide range of flora and flowers. The Bagmati River, Bungmati, Khokana, and Pharping are considerably more captivating during the Champadevi Hike. On the route to the peak, you can pass through various Buddhist monasteries. You can take in the Himalayas' breathtaking scenery at the Ganesh, Langtang, and Gauri Shankar ranges. In addition, there are no hotels or teahouses.

There are two routes to get to the summit of Champadevi Hill. Either the Pharping or the Machhegaun can be reached by way of a direct ascent. You can experience the manner of life and culture of the Newari people at the typical Newari village of Pharping.

If you want to go straight to the top, you can go through Machhegaun. It will take you three hours to get there. But this route is not well established. Particularly during the summer, the routes are extremely small and difficult to ascend.

Nagarjuna hill trek 
Nagarjuna is a section of Shivapuri National Park and is located northwest of Kathmandu. Just over 9 kilometers from Kathmandu, the Nagarjun Forest entrance may be found behind the Swoyambhu Stupa and the Balaju Water Gardens. Manjushree viewed the Kathmandu valley from the fabled Nagarjuna hill. The cave on the mountain where Nagarjuna meditated is quite well known. There is another cave of the Buddha, called Mahasiddhas, in addition to Nagarjuna Cave. We can get a good view of the Kathmandu valley and mountain ranges from the top of Nagarjuna. On top of this hill lies a modest Buddhist pagoda that served as the 2007 edition of Lonely Planet Nepal's cover image.

From here, you have a fantastic view of Langtang, Jugal Himal, and Ganesh Himal. The district of Nuwakot and the Kathmandu valley may be seen from its summit.
