Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m) and transfer you to the hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and exploration of UNESCO world heritage sites
Day 03: Drive: Kathmandu – Nyalam (3,750m, 150km – 6/7 hours)
Day 04: Acclimatization and free day in Nyalam
Day 05: Nyalam – New Dongba (4,600m, 390km – 5/6 hours)
Day 06: New Dongba – Mansarovar (4,558m, 277km – 4/5 hours)
Day 07: Mansarovar Kora by bus and drive to Darchen (4,575m, 40km – 1 hour)
Day 08: Darchen – Tarboche (13km drive) and trek to Dirapuk (4,909m, 7km trek/ 5 – 6 hours)
Day 09: Dirapuk – Zutulpuk (4,760m) via Dolmala Pass (5,613m, 18km trek)
Day 10: Zuthulpuk – Dongba via Darchen and Lake Mansarovar (10km/ 4 – 5 hours)
Day 11: Dongba – Nyalam (376km, 7 – 8 hours)
Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu (376km, 7 – 8 hours)

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m), Tribhuvan International Airport. Our airport representatives will receive you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in and stay overnight.
After breakfast, we proceed for half-day sightseeing tour of UNESCO protected world heritage sites. Visit Pashupatinath Temple (sacred Hindu temple), Boudhanath (largest Buddhist stupa) and Swoyambhunath (2,000 year old monkey temple).
After exploration, drive back to the hotel and take your free time for final preparation of the Kailash Pilgrimage trip. You can buy or rest few things; that you need during the tour. In the evening, our staff will hand you the Chinese visa and Tibet permit and make the complete briefing about the trip.
After breakfast, drive through the Bhaktapur – Dhulikhel route to Friendship Bridge in Nepal Tibet boarder. From here we walk for about 10 minutes and meet our Tibetan guide and drivers. After getting all the travel formalities done at Chinese check post, we drive 35km (3 hour) through the up-winding road to Nyalam. Here we will be transferred to the guest house. The services and amenities of guest house are basic (but improving).
Today is the first scheduled acclimatization at Nyalam. We go for short hike around the village and prepare ourselves for tedious Kailash Parikrama. It will help to acclimatize you at higher altitude. Enjoy free day after lunch.
After breakfast, we drive to New Dongba enjoying the view of typical Tibetan villages and camps of yak herders. To the far south, we can witness the snow-capped peaks. Today we will be driving on plain region. Arrive in New Dongba and enjoy hot tea.
After breakfast, we drive o Mansarovar. After several hours of rigorous drive, we can see the view of Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Mansarovar is sacred lake of fresh water with turquoise complexion. The region is considered rich in gold and other mines, hot springs and hundreds of wild living creatures.
The Mansarovar is the lake of compassion, tranquility and bliss. After completing the religious bath and ritual, we proceed for Mansarovar Lake Kora. Next we head towards Darchen, the base camp of Kailash Parikrama. During the auspicious time, this place is crowded with thousands of pilgrims with hundreds of tents all around.
After breakfast, we drive to Tarboche that starting point of Taraboche. Tarabohce is known as the outer “Asthapath”. We start our exciting kora along the beautiful rocky cliffs, waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky and view of Holy Mt. Kailash – a great spiritual feeling.
Today’s kora is quite challenging. We will be climbing to Drolma-la (5,613m) and then descend gradually to Zuthulpuk (4,760m). We should cross Yamasthal to reach Shiva-sthal while our steps get closer to the pass.
Once you summit the top of pass, we make the holiest offering and take some time to meditate for spiritual realization. We walk across the Parvati-stal and Gauri Kunda to reach Zuthulpuk.
After breakfast, we enjoy free time to explore the caves, temples and shrines around the Milarepa cave. We walk for 3 hours to reach a flat land. Our diving crew will be waiting for your arrival at Darchen. Be the late afternoon, we reach the lodge in Dongba.
Today we drive back via same route we used previously to Nylam. We stop at a viewpoint to take some pictures and explore surroundings.
After breakfast, we drive from Nyalam to Nepal Tibet Friendship Bridge. Tibetan guide and drive will bid you farewell from here. We make custom formalities of both immigrations and continue drive to Kathmandu with Nepali bus.
