Please read carefully the terms and conditions of contract. After submitting the Booking Form, you agree to be bound by these condition; which constitute the agreement between Nepal Horizon Treks (P) Ltd. and client. The company is liable to offer all the services included in “What’s included” section; other than emergency or unforeseen conditions and extension of trip. We imply the following conditions to operate the trip smoothly:
Booking a trip:
We suggest you to confirm your booking in advance, prior your arrival in Nepal. The company keeps the pre-booked client on high priority and it provides us ample time to make all the necessary arrangements for the trip.
Payment for trip:
The client need to pay 30% of total contracted trip price in advance to secure the trip. The remaining due can be paid before your arrival or upon your arrival in Nepal. You can also pay the due before the departure of your trip.
There are many options for the payment of the trip. You can pay either via wire transfer or credit cards or by cash for the trip cost.
Passports, Visas & Insurance
We suggest you to have valid passport with at least six months before expiry and proceed for the visa. The visa is easily available upon your arrival in Nepal on Immigration department.
Assumption of Risk:
It is very important to understand that trekking, walking or climbing on remote terrain might invite certain risks and dangers. It is because of un-predictable weather, lack of medical facilities and force of nature. The travelers agree to bear all the risks associated with the journey and agree that no liability will be attached to the company or its outfitter, employees or agents or to any member of the tour in respect to death, personal injury, illness or delay of travelers or for any loss or damage of property of traveler during the trip, howsoever caused.
Acceptance of Risk:
The travelers need understand the risk associated to the journey and accept the risk on their own.
Cancellation of trip by Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition
In case, if the trip in cancelled by Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition on any reason, we will notify you at earliest and will refund you the 100% deposit you have made but there is no compensation policy.
In case the client cancelled the trip:
If you want to change the booking you have already made with Nepal Horizon Treks, we will be more than happy to do so with imposing extra charges, in case of the change in date of the flight, travel permits and the hotel. The cancellation of flight and hotel will cost you extra cancellation charges as per their rules. You need to buy another travel permit if the date is expired.
Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition also accepts the last minute booking without any extra charge.
The cost for the emergency rescue and evacuation should be paid by the client themselves but you can make all the rescue arrangement. The heli rescue cost charges – USD 1825 – USD 2500 per hour. It depends upon the time, location and flying hours. We have good contact with Rescue Team.
We suggest you to buy the “Travel Insurance” that covers the emergency evacuation and rescue services even in above 4,500m elevation.
Sometimes unforeseen events might become the barrier to the trip. The cause that are not in our control like weather condition, flight delay or cancellation, strike, landslide or other natural calamities, Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition cannot take the responsibility. But we will work 24/7 to assist and find best to the any alternation. If you wish to complete the tour early or the tour dismisses due to any reason (that is not in our hand), then the cost is not refundable once paid.
